Overview:
CV Resources is collaborating with a dynamic healthcare organization to recruit a Senior Revenue Accountant. We are looking for a meticulous and seasoned professional to enhance our finance team.

Role Summary:
The Senior Revenue Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing the revenue accounting operations, ensuring adherence to GAAP and SEC reporting standards, while delivering precise and timely financial data to facilitate informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Accounting:

Oversee and execute monthly revenue recognition tasks in line with ASC 606. Review and analyze contracts to ascertain appropriate revenue recognition treatment. Prepare and validate journal entries and account reconciliations concerning revenue and deferred revenue accounts.



Financial Reporting:

Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and SEC filings. Work closely with external auditors during quarterly assessments and annual audits, supplying necessary documentation and clarifications. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all revenue-related disclosures.



Process Enhancement:

Identify and implement enhancements to streamline efficiency and accuracy in revenue accounting and reporting. Develop and uphold internal controls over revenue accounting processes to ensure compliance with SOX regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and financial systems.



Data Analysis and Reporting:

Conduct in-depth analyses of revenue trends and variances, offering insights and recommendations to management. Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed to support business initiatives and decision-making. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with revenue.



Team Leadership and Development:

Mentor and guide junior accounting personnel, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development. Assist in training team members on revenue recognition policies and procedures. Lead special projects related to revenue accounting as required.



Qualifications:

Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is essential. CPA certification is highly desirable.

Experience:
A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in revenue accounting, preferably in the healthcare sector. Extensive knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606, and SEC reporting requirements. Experience in a publicly traded company is mandatory. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is expected.

Skills and Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance. Proven capability to interpret complex contracts and determine suitable revenue recognition treatment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various departments. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A). Familiarity with healthcare regulations and reimbursement models. Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
