K2 Staffing, LLC is a dedicated non-profit organization focused on closing the gap between research and access to care for youth facing mental health challenges. Our mission revolves around identifying, funding, and implementing evidence-based treatments, empowering young individuals to find their own mental health solutions, and training supportive adults to foster a safe environment for children, adolescents, and young adults.

Position Overview

We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to guide our organization, acting as the essential link between our Scientific Advisory Board, donors, and the communities we serve.

The CEO will report directly to the Board of Directors and will hold comprehensive operational responsibility for our fundraising initiatives, awareness campaigns, programs, and the execution of our mission. The CEO will cultivate a profound understanding of the field, community model, operational framework, business strategy, and objectives of K2 Staffing, LLC, to refine the strategic vision for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to propel the mission and objectives of K2 Staffing, LLC, ensuring alignment with the organization’s values and strategic goals.

Fundraising: Formulate and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure financial backing for our research and programs. This involves nurturing and managing relationships with major donors, foundation partners, corporate sponsors, and other stakeholders.

Donor Relations: Act as the primary liaison between K2 Staffing, LLC and its donors, effectively communicating the impact of our initiatives and inspiring philanthropic support. Must possess the ability to comprehend and articulate complex research findings in an engaging manner to captivate donors.

Organizational Growth: Drive consistent and sustainable growth for the organization, broadening our reach and impact. Travel may be required to engage with donors as necessary.

Program Development and Management: Oversee the creation, delivery, and quality assurance of K2 Staffing, LLC’s programs and services. Ensure that programs are responsive to community needs and aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Communication: Serve as an exceptional storyteller and communicator, effectively conveying our mission, vision, and impact to diverse audiences through various channels, including public speaking engagements, media appearances, and written communications.

Operations: Ensure the organization operates smoothly and efficiently, with effective systems in place for human resources, technology, and financial management. Supervise staff recruitment, training, development, and retention strategies to cultivate a high-performing team.

Board Management: Provide leadership to and maintain robust relationships with the Board of Directors by offering support, communication, and reports that enable the board to fulfill its fiduciary responsibilities effectively. Collaborate with the Board of Directors to develop and manage a meaningful, multi-year strategic plan. Engage with the Board to identify, recruit, and orient new board members whose skills, interests, and commitment will further the organization’s mission, values, and goals.

Financial Management: Oversee the financial health and sustainability of K2 Staffing, LLC, ensuring responsible stewardship of resources and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 10 years of experience in senior leadership roles within the non-profit sector, demonstrating a proven track record in fundraising and organizational growth.

- Experience managing a non-profit staff team and board of directors, showcasing strong interpersonal and team-building skills.

- Ability to deeply understand mental health research and evidence-based interventions, with the capacity to translate complex scientific concepts into accessible language for diverse audiences.

- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with major donors, foundation partners, and corporate grant makers, resulting in significant financial support for organizational priorities.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to inspire and engage others through compelling storytelling and advocacy.

- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., nonprofit management, evidence-based research, communications, etc.) preferred.
