- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care that promote excellence in patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of nursing services and promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Lead and manage a team of nursing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their growth and success.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and utilization.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry trends, ensuring compliance and best practices in nursing care.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience in a facility environment as an Associate Chief Nursing Officer or Nursing Director of multiple, complex nursing departments.
- Proven leadership ability and facility operational expertise.
- Strong labor relations background.
- Ability to serve as role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
- CENP or NEA certification.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare technology systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with staff, physicians, and other stakeholders.
- Competitive salary range: $155,000 - $233,600 annually.
- Annual Incentive Plan bonus of 10%-25% depending on role level.
- Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
- Little to no travel required.
