Position Overview:

The EAC Compliance and Operational Risk Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and managing operational resilience within the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

This position is accountable for implementing the Global Compliance and Operational Risk Management frameworks. Key duties include:

  • Evaluating risks and the effectiveness of controls to ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
  • Providing independent oversight of performance within Front Line Units and Control Functions, ensuring alignment with compliance policies.
  • Identifying and escalating compliance and operational risk issues, driving corrective actions to address root causes.
  • Maintaining an inventory of processes, risks, and controls, while reporting any compliance violations.
  • Interpreting laws and regulations to offer practical guidance to stakeholders and managing regulatory changes.
  • Responding to regulatory inquiries and audits, while identifying training needs to enhance compliance awareness.
  • Monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring that policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
  • Coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Business Continuity and Operational Resiliency risk program.
  • Ensuring that risk governance frameworks demonstrate compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Enhancing risk identification processes to meet regulatory expectations.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in risk management or compliance-related roles.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and presentation software.
  • Strong project management capabilities with a track record of leading initiatives effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
