Job Summary

At the Hispanic Technology Executive Council, we are committed to fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. As a Business Risk Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of risk across our technology operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk mitigating strategies to address key technology areas, ensuring conformance with laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Partner with multiple technology organizations, divisional leads, and control partners to identify and address risk.
  • Utilize technical domain expertise to drive policy adherence and maintain sustainable risk-based solutions.
  • Oversee Issue Management activities end-to-end, including development of action plans for self/audit/compliance-identified issues.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in technology, with some applied within financial services or risk.
  • 3-5 years of professional domain expertise in a technical discipline, such as data management, artificial intelligence, and/or information security.
  • Organizational acumen and ability to communicate complex technical subject matter to various audiences.
  • Demonstrated increasing levels of accountability and ownership, with a strong ability to operate as a change ambassador.
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills, with the ability to positively influence and motivate teams.
