Position Overview:
The Senior Accounting Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the Financial Manager in managing the financial operations of the automotive dealerships.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute daily banking transactions.
2. Process financing payoffs efficiently.
3. Oversee factory receivable schedules (including incentives, holdback, warranty, etc.) and assist with follow-ups.
4. Record and reconcile dealer reserves accurately.
5. Manage extended warranty payment submissions.
6. Compile statistical data for financial reporting.
7. Provide coverage for team members during absences.
8. Undertake additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:
1. Comprehensive experience in an automotive financial environment.
2. Familiarity with CDK software is highly desirable.
3. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
4. Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize effectively.

Essential Skills:
1. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
2. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
3. Solid understanding of general financial and cost accounting principles.
4. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and their application.
5. Proficiency in preparing tax documentation accurately.
6. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software, along with accounting systems.

Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
2. Capability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds occasionally.
