About the Role

The ACLU of Washington is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented People Services Associate to join our team. As a key member of our People Services Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing exceptional support to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the People Services Group, including team and project management, electronic and paper file management, and drafting and formatting documents.
  • Manage office supplies, coordinate facilities, and ensure a safe and clean work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, building management, and vendors to resolve issues and ensure seamless operations.
  • Participate in subcommittees and projects to improve the work environment and culture.
  • Assist with special projects and events, and provide support to other departments as needed.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of prior administrative experience in an administrative setting or providing administrative or other operations support.
  • Excellent customer service skills, time management, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment and ability to work independently.
  • Computer and technology proficiency, with a willingness to learn new software.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and privacy.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $60,180 to $74,120.
  • A 35-hour work week with a 1-hour lunch break.
  • A hybrid work style with some staff working remotely and others working in the office.
