Job Title: Benefits Enrollment Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Benefits Enrollment Coordinator to join our team at Blackbird Recruiting. As a key member of our Enrollment team, you will play a critical role in supporting the enrollment process and ensuring seamless communication with clients and brokers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Enrollment team to align efforts and discuss enrollment processes.
  • Communicate with plan administrators to schedule benefits counseling sessions.
  • Work with clients to arrange enrollment schedules and ensure HR has necessary information for employees to schedule counseling sessions.
  • Coordinate benefit administration portal access for benefits counselors.
  • Gather employee census information, benefit eligibility rules, cost contributions, and client payroll rules.
  • Build the Employee Navigator portal/database with relevant information.
  • Create the Enrollment Guide to assist benefits counselors during enrollment sessions.
  • Participate in group training/meetings and monitor enrollment from start to close.
  • Arrange logistics for enrolling new employees and/or stragglers.
  • Work with the data team to prepare and deliver post-enrollment reporting to each account.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive growth.
  • Offer general assistance to clients to ensure quality consumer experience.
  • Proactively resolve challenges and drive solutions to improve enrollment results.
  • Collect, analyze, and report enrollment results to identify trends and drive growth opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Experience in building out Employee Navigator is required; knowledge of other platforms like Ease, Selerix, and Harmony is a plus.
  • Experience in the Employee Benefits Industry.
  • Superior Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Excel.
  • Solid communication skills – both written and oral.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and proactively.
  • Solid problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to partner with a close team and develop strong business relationships.
  • Works well in a high-volume environment.
  • Takes initiative/Results oriented.
  • Must have, or willing to obtain, Life and Health License.
  • Solid organizational skills; manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
