We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Systems Specialist to join our team.

Role Responsibilities:

The Supply Chain Systems Specialist will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary liaison for our existing Warehouse Management System (WMS) and the associated Supply Chain ecosystem. This position will involve close collaboration with the Operations team to drive enhancements and optimize warehouse processes, leveraging your expertise in systems integration and statistical analytics to meet business requirements.

In addition, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and effectiveness while mastering the end-to-end system flow for the Order Fulfillment process.

Key Duties:
  • Application Development & Maintenance:
    • Create, test, and implement custom applications tailored to retail and supply chain requirements.
    • Update and enhance existing applications to improve security, functionality, and performance.
  • Platform Administration:
    • Manage the installation, configuration, and upkeep of software applications.
    • Oversee application servers to ensure system availability, reliability, and security.
  • Integration & Interfacing:
    • Design and develop APIs and web services for seamless integration with external systems.
    • Utilize XML for data transfer using Infor ION as the middleware.
  • Database Management:
    • Administer SQL Server databases, focusing on performance tuning, query optimization, and data integrity.
    • Design and implement database schemas and stored procedures.
  • Support & Troubleshooting:
    • Monitor and provide technical support for application-related issues, resolving problems efficiently.
    • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for future occurrences.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, IT, Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
  • Over 7 years of operational experience with hands-on development support for an application stack in a mid-sized organization.
  • Expertise in Warehouse Management Systems and familiarity with related supply chain applications (e.g., WMS, ION, Kardex, Loftware, WCS).
  • Proficient in SQL and SQL Server (certification is advantageous).
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of Spanish and/or French is a plus.
