We are currently seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our Valagro Manufacturing team in Orangeburg, SC. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by conducting analytical chemical determinations, physical and physico-chemical level of raw materials and production samples.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct classical and instrumental analytical chemical determinations to ensure the quality of raw materials and production samples.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to minimize the risk of out-of-specification occurrences and reduce waste.
- Manage non-conformance events by identifying and addressing any deviations encountered during production or customer complaints.
- High school diploma or degree in a technical/scientific field (chemical is preferred).
- Base chemical knowledge and at least 1-2 years' experience in analytical laboratories (preferably in the fertilizer field).
- Good knowledge of analytical and instrumental chemical theory and techniques such as IC, analyzers, and titrators.
- Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data and report writing skills.
- Good communication and team working skills.
