Training and Development: The Nurse Residency Program at Centerpoint Medical Center equips you with the necessary tools to thrive in today’s healthcare environment. You will receive advanced clinical training in a specialty area, preceptorship training, and engage in collaborative evidence-based practice projects.
Patient Care Responsibilities: As an RN Resident, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with departmental requirements and nursing standards.
- Assess patient conditions during admissions and shifts, reporting any changes in status.
- Perform medical procedures and document care accurately in patient records.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and educate patients and families about medical conditions and treatment plans.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing and hold a Registered Nurse License or be a Graduate Nurse in the State. No prior experience is required, though some travel may be necessary for training.
