Regional New Truck Sales Manager

Rush Enterprises, a leading network of commercial vehicle dealerships across the US, representing top manufacturers, is seeking a seasoned leader to manage and coordinate our New Truck departments.

Job Summary

The Regional New Truck Sales Manager will oversee all aspects of our New Truck departments, driving sales growth and excellence in customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet regional goals and objectives, driving revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Lead and motivate a team of New Truck Sales Managers and their staff to achieve sales targets, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Collaborate with managers to set and achieve monthly sales goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with company-wide initiatives.
  • Implement and monitor a prospecting and sales control system to ensure follow-up with potential buyers, leveraging data-driven insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with guidelines for appraising and displaying new trucks, maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Work with department managers to prepare and administer annual operating budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and strategic alignment.
  • Monitor and control department performance using reports, tracking systems, and surveys, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to promote new and repeat business, leveraging digital channels and traditional marketing tactics to reach target audiences.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, with a focus on business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Two years of dealership experience, preferably in the transportation and commercial vehicle industry, with a proven track record of sales success.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets the company's insurance guidelines.
Compensation:

$100,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
