Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a channel sales strategy that aligns with Canonical's business objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, resellers, and other channel partners
- Identify and recruit new channel partners in the Americas region
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans with channel partners
- Provide sales and technical training to channel partners
- Drive and manage channel pipeline through regular partner interactions
- Support partner satisfaction and act as a trusted advisor and point of contact
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field
- Proven experience in software or technology sales, preferably in the channel sales space
- Fluency in English
- Strong understanding of open source, Linux, and Ubuntu
- Self-starter with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
- Effective negotiating skills with ability to close sales
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Productive in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation
