Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our Southwest Region team and drive sales growth in the territory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership and a deep understanding of the regional market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly supervise Business Development Managers and work with Territory Managers and Sales Support in the Southwest Region.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals and objectives.
  • Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates, and make recommendations to senior management.
  • Represent the company at regional trade association meetings to promote products and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with Business Development Managers and Territory Managers, and negotiate sales agreements to drive revenue growth.
  • In conjunction with Business Development Managers and Territory Managers, meet with key clients and assist with maintaining relationships and driving growth opportunities, and identify new business opportunities to expand the company's presence in the region.
  • Coordinates liaison between regional sales staff and other sales-related units, and ensures effective communication and collaboration across the organization.
  • Analyses and controls expenditures of regional staff to confirm to budgetary requirements, and makes recommendations to senior management to optimize resource allocation.
  • Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client-based expansion for the region, and presents findings to senior management.
  • Monitors and evaluates activities and products of competition, and provides insights to senior management to inform business decisions.
Performance Expectations
  • Sales Revenue/Profit Growth for assigned region.
  • Effectively manage sales budget for the region, and ensure alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Generate New Accounts in underperforming areas, and drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.
