As a Media Strategy Lead at DFWIMA, you will be part of a dynamic team of media professionals eager to enhance their skills. Your expertise in media planning will encompass both Traditional (television, radio, OOH, print, etc.) and Digital (programmatic, social, search, etc.) channels, allowing you to provide insightful rationales for their inclusion or exclusion in strategic plans.

Your role will involve:

  • Developing comprehensive media strategies that align with client objectives and effectively presenting them to stakeholders.
  • Identifying genuine client needs and guiding them toward successful outcomes.
  • Confidently articulating your insights and providing strategic recommendations to clients and partners.
  • Utilizing advanced data manipulation skills in Excel or Google Sheets to support your strategic initiatives.
  • Understanding the necessary steps to acquire usable creative assets and collaborating with the ad operations team to ensure timely campaign launches.
  • Overseeing the implementation of tracking mechanisms to accurately measure performance metrics such as sales, revenue, and leads.
  • Working closely with agency-clients to address creative requirements and enhancing campaigns based on historical performance insights.
  • Leading and mentoring both internal team members and client teams to foster growth and collaboration.
  • Providing detailed monitoring and reporting of media activities, ensuring KPIs (ROAS, CPA, etc.) are met and maintaining client confidence in performance.
  • Managing your ad operations team to ensure campaigns are executed at optimal levels.
  • Delivering campaign recaps and case studies to clients and agency partners to reinforce the value proposition.
  • Supervising direct reports and overseeing their performance.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in media (Ad Tech, Client, and Agency experience accepted).
  • Strong client-facing abilities, including problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with the programmatic ecosystem (DSP/SSPs, CDP, DMP, ad-networks, etc.).
  • Comprehensive understanding of both digital and traditional media.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with Self-Service Display/Video Buying, Facebook Business Manager, and/or Google Ads is preferred.
  • Fluency in project management and team leadership techniques.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients.
  • 1-2+ years of management experience.
