Position Summary:
The Senior Manager of Media will be an integral part of our marketing team, contributing significantly to the overall success of the organization. This role encompasses both strategic oversight and hands-on execution, focusing on the impact of national and local marketing campaigns in driving sales and attracting new clientele.
This position is accountable for leading the National Paid Media strategy, which involves planning, executing, measuring, and optimizing campaigns in partnership with our media buying agency. By employing rapid A/B testing and establishing best practices, the Senior Manager of Media will collaborate closely with Franchisees to implement innovative media strategies at the local level, aimed at maximizing sales and customer acquisition.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive media expertise and a fresh, data-driven approach to enhance brand visibility, engagement, conversion rates, and customer loyalty. While experience in Franchise and Retail is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. This role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the national Paid Media strategy from inception to completion, in collaboration with internal creative teams and external media partners.
- Evaluate existing national media budgets, audience targeting, creative assets, and plans, proposing and implementing enhancements to drive customer traffic to stores.
- Develop data-informed strategies for innovative marketing initiatives that address all stages of the marketing funnel - from awareness to loyalty.
- Create a comprehensive set of best practices for local media to boost foot traffic and attract new customers for Franchisees.
- Work in tandem with Franchisees' local marketing teams and media agencies to execute effective local campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal social and influencer teams to gather high-quality User-Generated Content (UGC) for national and local media campaigns.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven track record of 5-7 years in developing and executing integrated media plans.
- Expertise in both traditional (TV, Radio, OOH) and digital channels (Paid Search, Paid Social, Streaming, OTT, Programmatic, Affiliate).
- Strong understanding of national and local integrated marketing strategies, particularly in driving store traffic across diverse markets.
- Familiarity with various MarTech platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok) and analytical tools (Adobe, DMPs, Programmatic, Google Data Studio, Tableau).
- A proactive individual with a creative and inquisitive mindset, adaptable to the culture of Buff City Soap.
- Ability to clearly articulate a vision and garner support in a dynamic stakeholder environment.
- Exceptional collaborator with significant experience in both internal and external partnerships.
- Preferably, a background in Retail and/or Franchise with a proven history of achieving results for physical store locations.
