Position Summary:
MARC Radio Dallas is seeking a dedicated and driven Integrated Media Sales Executive to enhance our Black Gospel & Teaching Station in North Texas, KGGR AM/FM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively pursue and identify new radio broadcasting and digital advertising opportunities through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and other strategies to cultivate a strong client portfolio.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of potential sales leads to discover local businesses aiming to enhance their marketing strategies.
- Design comprehensive marketing initiatives that yield significant returns on investment for clients, leveraging both traditional radio and digital platforms.
- Foster and sustain strong relationships with current clients, assisting them in meeting their advertising objectives by proposing innovative growth strategies.
- Provide sales forecasts to the General Sales Manager and document daily sales activities and accomplishments in the CRM system.
- Engage in weekly sales meetings and contribute actively.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Follow established protocols for order preparation, billing issue resolution, and regular sales reporting, including pipeline updates and competitive analysis.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction, product excellence, and achieving favorable outcomes.
- Self-driven and persistent individual who excels both independently and in team settings.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to convey ideas persuasively and professionally via various communication channels.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Ability to utilize research and data to formulate effective marketing solutions for clients.
- Strong presentation and communication abilities.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on follow-through.
- Ability to collaborate with all organizational levels and demonstrate a team-oriented approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and CRM software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years of sales experience with a proven record of revenue growth (experience in media sales is advantageous).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
Additional Requirements:
- Possession of a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a satisfactory driving record as per company insurance standards.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screenings.
- Standard work schedule from Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work as necessary.
