Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead our logistics branch and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team, developing and executing business strategies, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Client Acquisition:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
  • Develop and execute business plans to improve services and meet customer and carrier needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Operations & Team Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement operational processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Mentor and train team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Financial Performance & Growth:

  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure cost-effective operations and drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor and analyze financial metrics to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Identify and pursue new revenue streams to drive business growth and increase revenue.

Carrier Network & Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure capacity and competitive pricing.
  • Monitor and analyze carrier performance to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and pursue new carrier opportunities to drive business growth and increase revenue.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics, including business development and revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and management skills to lead and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and carriers.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions to drive growth and revenue.
