About the Role

Lundbeck is a global biopharmaceutical company committed to improving the lives of people with neurological and psychiatric diseases. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Neuroscience Area Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in central California.

Job Description

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a diverse sales team to achieve sales goals within the psychiatry portfolio. You will set and execute strategic direction and tactical sales plans, recruit and develop Account Managers, and guide local market execution by aligning the sales force and other cross-functional areas.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute area sales plans to achieve business objectives
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  3. Provide coaching, training, and feedback to Account Managers
  4. Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of company assets
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of sales management experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven track record of sales success and leadership experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
