Lead a High-Performing Sales Team in Central California

Lundbeck, a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to brain health, is seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive business growth and develop a diverse team of Account Managers.

About the Job

We are looking for an experienced biopharmaceutical sales professional to lead our sales efforts in the Central California territory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting strategic direction, developing tactical sales plans, and coaching individual account managers to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Set and execute area strategic direction and tactical sales plans using analytical skills and industry expertise.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of Account Managers, providing coaching, feedback, and inspiration to achieve business objectives and sales results.
  • Talent Development: Recruit, develop, and retain diverse, high-performing Account Managers.
  • Market Insights: Identify local market systems of care, patient flow, reimbursement, and provide innovation solutions.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • At least 3+ years of sales management experience in Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceuticals, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to develop, train, and provide feedback to a group of account managers.
Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of $175,000 - $205,000 per year, eligibility for a sales incentive target of $49,500, and participation in Lundbeck's long-term incentive plan.
