Job Summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Front Office Coordinator to join our team in San Francisco, CA.

This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday-Friday, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist patients with the check-in process, verifying insurance information and collecting necessary payments or co-pays.
  • Manage the check-out process, scheduling follow-up appointments and providing necessary paperwork or instructions.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient records, including scanning and indexing documents into the electronic medical records system.
  • Provide efficient cash collection through excellent reimbursement practices, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Review charge information for accuracy and make corrections as needed.
  • Resolve outstanding invoice problems from past-due accounts.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of office administrative experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and other medical insurance regulations.
