Patient Care Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at OnPoint Medical Group. As a key member of our front office staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical clinics.
Key Responsibilities- Greeting Patients: Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients and their families, ensuring a positive first impression of our medical group.
- Pre-Visit Planning: Coordinate with patients to verify insurance, update records, and prepare for their visit, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Registration and Verification: Accurately register new patients and verify existing patient information, maintaining the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Financial Transactions: Collect co-pays and payments, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Scheduling and Communication: Schedule appointments, respond to patient inquiries, and serve as a liaison between clinical staff and patients.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to ensure the front office remains organized, clutter-free, and efficient.
- Outbound Calls: Schedule appointments with patients via outbound calls, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Service Standards: Maintain high service standards, ensuring exceptional patient satisfaction and experience.
- Confidentiality and HIPAA: Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines, upholding the highest standards of patient privacy.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college or medical-related education preferred.
- Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in medical software and systems.
- Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and provide personalized support.
- Communication: Effective communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and respond appropriately.
