About the Role

Cognigy is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our marketing and sales teams, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, creating and executing lead generation campaign concepts, and collaborating closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure seamless handover of qualified leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively reach out to potential customers who are interested in learning more about Conversational AI and AI Agents via email, LinkedIn, and phone, and qualify them.
  • Create and execute lead generation campaign concepts for social and email, leveraging Zoominfo and other tools.
  • Attend conferences, roundtables, and events with the team, bringing your energy to attract prospects to the booth, generate quality leads, follow up with people you spoke with, and help ensure goals are met.
  • Develop and fine-tune effective engagement strategy for pre- and post-follow-up from virtual events and webinars.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure seamless handover of qualified leads, providing them with comprehensive background information and insights to facilitate the sales process and move prospects through the pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and progress using CRM software (Hubspot), tracking key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in lead generation and sales development, proactively identifying opportunities for process enhancement.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a SaaS/software or technology-related industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing communications, media, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A persuasive and persistent demeanor, with the ability to handle objections and maintain a positive attitude.
