Position Overview:

We are looking for a Business Data Analyst who possesses a strong background in data analysis, particularly in finance and demand planning, to enhance the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process and evaluate customer behavior. Our team thrives on collaboration, aiming for excellence and impactful results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for analytical inquiries related to our partners in the wholesale and specialty pharmacy sectors.
  • Deliver actionable insights and business intelligence to support effective decision-making aligned with daily OTC operations.
  • Facilitate team activities and management requests by providing critical information that supports the customer experience and OTC functions.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Finance, Accounts Receivable, and Commercial Analytics, to foster planning solutions and enhance trade efficiencies.
  • Generate insights related to Specialty Pharmacies and Distributors, advancing trade analytics reporting and optimizing data resource utilization.
  • Manage business priorities and expectations regarding deliverables and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and analyze reports to identify variances and trends, partnering with business stakeholders to explain discrepancies.
  • Work with technical teams to identify dependencies, design reporting solutions, and coordinate deliverables toward shared objectives.

Operational Oversight:

  • Communicate strategic priorities and assist in resolving tactical challenges that hinder business performance.
  • Monitor transactional backlogs and risk areas, proactively planning for mitigation.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, maintaining accurate execution standards.

Performance Management:

  • Prepare and review analytics to assess the effectiveness of operational strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Associate's degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
  • High school diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in analytics, forecasting, or strategy roles, preferably within the healthcare, biotech, or pharmaceutical sectors.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Proficient analytical and software skills for data analysis.
  • Ability to interpret large datasets from various sources.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a client-focused mindset.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities to support critical business decisions.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a strong drive to solve problems effectively.
