About the Role:

Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is in search of dedicated Pool Servers to join our enthusiastic team. In this role, you will assist guests in creating seamless and memorable experiences by the pool. As a Pool Server, you will possess a keen eye for detail, warmly greet guests, deliver food and beverages, anticipate their needs, and be well-versed in all available menu options.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage menu items to guests, highlighting their origins, flavors, and preparation methods; relay guest orders, including any special requests, to the kitchen using the hotel's point-of-sale system; manage food timing; verify completed kitchen orders against the guest's original order; and deliver items to guest tables promptly to ensure optimal food quality.
  • Anticipate guest needs, gauge satisfaction, and offer recommendations while responding swiftly and appropriately to any concerns or requests.
  • Accurately process guest checks; handle cash and credit card transactions; and manage voided checks or complimentary meals with precision.
  • Oversee the breakdown, cleaning, and setup of tables, buffets, and food stations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of two years in food service or a related field.
  • Ability to carry and balance a tray effectively.
  • Proficient in processing cash and credit card transactions accurately.
  • Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with colleagues and guests.
  • Must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
