Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Onelife Fitness. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, guests, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to members, guests, and visitors, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage membership sales, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of transactions.
  • Process cash, check, and credit card transactions, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Schedule courts and program services for members, ensuring seamless delivery of our services.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Utilize our online computer software to manage member check-ins, updates, and accounts, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of information.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings and trainings, staying up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assume other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong work ethic, with a focus on punctuality, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude, even in challenging situations.
  • Outwardly facing professional appearance, including a smile, uniform, and name tag.
  • Confidence and desire to create new relationships quickly, with a focus on building strong connections with members and guests.
  • Ability to quickly acquire and apply new knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office, email, and MS Windows.
  • Familiarity with basic cash-handling procedures, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED, with a focus on customer service, sales, or a related field.
  • Six months experience in a health club, customer service, or retail role, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships.
  • Current CPR/AED certification, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy environment for members and guests.
