Position Overview

Role Summary: Encentric, Inc. is seeking a qualified IT Help Desk Manager/Project Manager to oversee a team dedicated to delivering information management and technology support services for military medical research and health agency contracting activities.

Security Clearance: This position necessitates an active Secret clearance.

Educational Requirements: An Associate's Degree is required.

Certification Requirements: Candidates must hold either a GSEC or CompTIA Security+ Certification.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years in a management capacity.
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer support roles.
  • 3 years of functional and technical IT support experience.
  • Experience with the Defense Health Agency is preferred.

Practical Experience:

  • Oversee, coordinate, and manage projects and initiatives with diverse timelines and scopes to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the management and coordination of IT help desk support, including scheduling, project deployment timelines, reporting, and response processes.
  • Ensure sufficient IT help desk support is provided based on workload demands.
  • Analyze and address technical, functional, and personnel challenges, collaborating with management to propose enhancements to processes and documentation for improved efficiency and quality support.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Enterprise Services for automating information management and technology requirements.
