About the Role

The Suites Supervisor is a key member of our team at AEG, responsible for overseeing the serving of guests in the suites level. This includes 44 suites as well as an exclusive VIP area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Preparation: Ensure all suites are set prior to events based on communication received of orders.
  • Quality and Hospitality: Responsible for ensuring quality and hospitality throughout the Suite Level of the arena.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise team members on non-event and event days.
  • Communication: Responsible for communication between counterparts of the department.
  • Event Execution: Responsible for organization and preparation of events.
  • Financial Management: Assist in closing out financials per event and ensure correct billing takes place.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory control and product requisition.
  • Alcohol Service: Responsible for supervising the service of beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages.
  • Guest Service: Observe guests to respond to any additional requests.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event.
  • Intoxication Protocol: Recognize guests that are visibly intoxicated and take action to cut off alcohol to such individuals.
  • Policy Enforcement: Enforce all Spectra policies and procedures.
  • Employee Relations: Practice excellent Human Resources skills regarding employee relations, corrective action, coaching, and counseling employees.
Requirements
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 1-2 years' experience working in a supervisory capacity in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner.
  • Language Skills: Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Cash Handling: Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
  • Math Skills: Ability to calculate basic math functions as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory.
