Brave New World is a dynamic and rapidly expanding private equity real estate firm specializing in self-storage and various alternative real estate sectors. With a workforce exceeding 650 professionals, including investment experts, property management teams, and marketing specialists, we are actively acquiring and consolidating self-storage assets across the United States and Canada.
Role Summary:
The District Manager will serve as the primary leader for our store portfolio within the designated region. This position is responsible for driving growth and enhancing the profitability of district operations while embodying the company's vision and leadership within the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute strategies to meet sales objectives and maximize the net operating income (NOI) of the portfolio.
- Foster and ensure robust operational performance across the assigned business units.
- Motivate, guide, and cultivate the team to achieve excellence.
- Oversee and enhance sales performance, cost efficiency, employee management, and safety protocols.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for business performance improvement.
- Uphold all organizational policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Manage employee performance, including recruitment, termination, and professional development.
- Address escalations and approvals promptly and comprehensively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline preferred; an Associate degree or equivalent experience is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in multi-unit retail sales or service operations.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight while effectively leading a team.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
- Proven track record of fostering ownership and accountability within a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and navigate interruptions effectively.
- Work effectively under pressure while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Capability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Possession of a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel within the district and to other designated locations as required.

- Competitive salary range: $100k - $130k, negotiable for the right candidate.
