Regional Operations Manager Job Description

BellSimons, a leading HVAC products provider, seeks a highly skilled Regional Operations Manager to oversee the company's branch locations in the Hartford and New Haven regions. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for providing operational leadership, guidance, and support to branch managers to achieve exceptional operational, safety, and customer satisfaction standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and develop local branch managers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Oversee assigned branch locations, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations, providing recommendations for promotion and salary adjustments as appropriate.
  • Support valued business relationships, resolving customer and other issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversee and perform annual performance reviews for branch managers.
  • Ensure all branch layouts and logistics are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain and administer the fleet management program, ensuring the safety and security of company vehicles.
  • Recommend moving and facility improvements to enhance operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate and coordinate key personnel and technical/operational processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Travel to branch locations as needed to provide support and guidance.
  • Develop and implement staff placement strategies to meet the needs of the company and employee talent.
  • Maintain an open-door policy and productive approach to all employee communication.
  • Participate in unemployment claim hearings as needed to present facts and defend company interests.
  • Coach, train, and develop branch management in matters related to employee communication, investigations, and team development.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in business, warehousing, supply chain, logistics, and related functions, with HVAC experience a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in a multi-unit leadership role with demonstrated metric successes.
