Position Overview
We are currently seeking a full-time Field Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in our project operations, assisting senior mechanics, managing parts errands, and supporting fuel/lube trucks and equipment.
This position is designed for individuals eager to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment. Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of mechanical systems and equipment to assist with routine maintenance tasks such as vehicle tune-ups and oil changes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support mechanics in various tasks and projects.
2. Manage errands for parts and supplies.
3. Assist with the operation of fuel/lube trucks and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Basic mechanical knowledge and equipment familiarity.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to obtain a medical clearance for driving DOT vehicles.
- Class A CDL and HAZMAT certification are necessary.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Pre-employment drug screening and background checks are mandatory.
- Commitment to safety practices and teamwork is essential.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting pay ranges from $30 to $45 per hour, depending on experience, with potential for overtime. We offer comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance starting on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment. Additionally, we provide a 401K match on eligible wages, with full contribution matching up to 4% of the employee's eligible wages.
