Position Overview:

The Construction Site Manager will be responsible for supervising all aspects of a construction project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate a timeline and cost-efficient strategy for the successful completion of assigned projects.
  • Coordinate and schedule the activities of tradespeople, professionals, and laborers, effectively communicating with the project foreperson to relay instructions and project assignments as necessary.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and adherence to timelines; prepare and deliver progress reports to stakeholders, including owners, project managers, and architects; recommend modifications as needed.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other relevant parties to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
  • Ensure that all specifications and regulations outlined in architectural and engineering plans are strictly followed.
  • Secure necessary licenses and execute construction contracts in accordance with agreed terms.
  • Address any safety violations or deficiencies promptly.
  • Adhere to all applicable OSHA Safety Regulations on each job site.
  • Maintain communication with owners, architects, and subcontractors, relaying information to project managers as required.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to oversee and coordinate diverse teams in various roles.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in reading, understanding, and executing blueprints, drawings, and plans.
  • Comprehensive understanding of legal requirements related to construction and building sites.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality construction practices.
  • Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Skilled in working with a variety of personalities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Construction Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in the building trade is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, climb, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Capability to work safely with sharp tools or power equipment.
  • Ability to perform in various weather conditions and terrains.
  • Manual dexterity, good balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination are essential.
  • Physical strength and stamina to complete tasks in diverse environments.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull loads of the same weight.
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours a day and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Availability to work some weekends and evenings as necessary.
