AdKore is currently seeking a Safety Coordinator for a short-term project in the Lincoln, NE area. This role is suited for individuals with entry to mid-level experience, specifically requiring OSHA 30 certification and practical experience in construction site safety. Responsibilities include observing, monitoring, reporting, and enforcing OSHA regulations on a dynamic construction site. You will also conduct safety meetings and morning briefings.

This is a temporary role expected to last for one week, with approximately 60 hours of work projected, potentially increasing based on project demands. Competitive compensation and per diem are available for this short-term engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate safety meetings and toolbox discussions.
  • Monitor and document the effectiveness of safety measures.
  • Assess and identify hazardous situations.
  • Document observations and violations through notes, sketches, and photographs.
  • Prepare reports on accidents, injuries, and illnesses.
  • Assist in the investigation of workplace incidents.
  • Observe work crews and recommend safety improvements.
  • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess required certification in OSHA 30 Construction.
  • Utilize computer programs such as Word and Excel proficiently.
  • Have a working knowledge of safety programs and the commercial construction environment.
