We are currently seeking a Construction Project Coordinator who will be responsible for overseeing construction initiatives that drive profitability for the organization. This position entails the daily management of projects, on-site workforce, and subcontractors. The coordinator will guide, schedule, supervise, and synchronize the activities of personnel to ensure optimal utilization of resources and facilities. The role also includes comprehensive management of construction sites and procurement processes until final project acceptance, all while prioritizing safety standards. The aim is to enhance profitability and implement cost control measures to support the organization's stability and growth through the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze project specifications and blueprints to devise appropriate construction methodologies based on timelines and completion goals.
  • Assess staffing and equipment requirements for each construction phase, directing and supervising related activities.
  • Manage the procurement of materials, tools, and rental equipment to align with project timelines.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, management, and mentorship of employees and contractors.
  • Lead on-site teams in planning work procedures, executing tasks, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various construction phases to avoid delays.
  • Engage with supervisory staff, clients, engineers, inspectors, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to address issues such as work procedures, complaints, or construction challenges to enhance methods and performance.
  • Conduct inspections and reviews of ongoing work to ensure compliance with specifications, plans, schedules, and safety regulations.
  • Prepare or evaluate reports on progress and expenditures related to materials, equipment, and labor, adjusting work schedules as necessary.
  • Manage disputes with the public and clients, including property damage or repairs to public facilities.
  • Collaborate with other on-site personnel to adhere to administrative and operational policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and document incidents of damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure adherence to proper procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with safety program requirements, documenting and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Enforce adherence to administrative policies, safety regulations, and governmental guidelines.
  • Provide recommendations for management performance evaluations.
  • Prepare and assess project cost estimates.
