Job Overview

The Midwest Petroleum Equipment team is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled individual to fill the role of Site Construction Manager. This position is crucial for overseeing the construction and installation of petroleum-related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Underground Storage Tank (UST) Installer License in Nebraska, Iowa, and/or Kansas. Occasional travel during the work week may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise construction personnel, ensuring effective project management and problem resolution.
  • Uphold safety standards and regulations, ensuring compliance with OSHA guidelines among all field staff.
  • Engage with project managers, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to address challenges and provide timely updates.
  • Conduct inspections to guarantee project quality and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and punctuality at all times.
Inspection Duties:
  • Evaluate projects for compliance with building and safety codes.
  • Monitor adherence to environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • UST Installer License in Nebraska, Iowa, and/or Kansas.
  • A minimum of 3 years of field construction experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
  • Familiarity with aboveground and underground petroleum fuel systems is advantageous.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED; further training and certification will be provided.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
Physical Requirements:
  • Capability to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Position entails stooping, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
  • Demonstrated integrity and strong professional ethics.
  • Ability to foster relationships with clients and team members.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills to meet project deadlines.
Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with a standard Monday to Friday schedule, including potential overnight travel.
