They are currently on the lookout for a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to become part of their project management team, responsible for managing the daily operations of construction sites in the region, typically within a 50-mile radius of Lincoln, although there may be occasional assignments further afield for repeat clients.

This company serves a diverse clientele across various sectors, including affordable housing, food services, retail, education, commercial, industrial, and healthcare.


Based at their primary building division in Lincoln, they operate as a local regional contractor, overseeing projects ranging from £500,000 to £12 million across all sectors.


ROLE OVERVIEW:
In this position, you will be responsible for delivering significant new build and refurbishment projects across all sectors. Experience in managing projects of a similar scale for main contractors is essential.


Health and safety certifications such as SMSTS and First Aid are mandatory, while professional memberships or additional qualifications would be advantageous.

Above all, we seek a Construction Site Supervisor who thrives on autonomy and possesses the ability to drive projects forward while fostering strong relationships with project teams and clients.


This is a full-time role, operating from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with site locations typically within the East Midlands area and within a 50-mile radius of Lincoln, although there may be occasional work further afield for repeat clients.

The role also entails regular interaction with the broader project teams at the company’s construction office.


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Previous experience in site management is essential, ideally in housing, commercial, and industrial projects.

You must be capable of planning all facets of construction operations and generating construction schedules. A comprehensive understanding of construction processes and strong commercial acumen are required.

Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and people management skills are critical.

You should maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when engaging with colleagues, contractors, clients, professionals, and all others within the supply chain.

An academic qualification (HNC, HND, Degree in a construction-related discipline) would be beneficial.


We are particularly interested in candidates with up-to-date qualifications and training such as SMSTS, First Aid, Black Managers CSCS card, asbestos awareness, working at height, and scaffold inspection.

A full driving license is essential.
