Position: Technical Support Specialist

This role is a temporary engagement aimed at bolstering the operations of a critical communications network. The position may be extended based on performance and operational needs.

The network serves a vast array of first responders across the state, ensuring seamless communication for nearly 1000 public safety agencies. It is overseen by the Department of Emergency Management.

Key Responsibilities

- Inputting radio data into the system to facilitate activation.
- Keeping precise records of user data.
- Executing tasks according to established protocols.
- Addressing user inquiries and resolving issues as they arise.
- Managing incoming calls and emails related to system challenges.
- Upholding confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive information.
- Monitoring system alerts and coordinating with technical teams as necessary.
- Collaborating effectively with team members.

Qualifications

- Knowledge of IT security standards and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet background check requirements.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
