Senior Assembly Supervisor

As a Senior Assembly Supervisor, you will oversee assembly operations, ensuring quality and efficiency while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Allocate assembly tasks to team members within the work cell or workstation.
2. Facilitate the training of new assemblers and provide cross-training for existing staff.
3. Identify and propose enhancements for quality and operational efficiency.
4. Report directly to the Production Supervisor or Plant Manager.
5. Adhere to assembly guidelines and accurately assemble HUBER+SUHNER products.
6. Utilize designated tools, materials, and equipment effectively.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
8. Operate production machinery and manage computer systems as required.
9. Complete necessary production documentation.
10. Perform soldering tasks as needed.
11. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Your Profile:
Essential Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
Skills:
- Strong communication abilities.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and assembly instructions, preferably in English.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, including measuring devices.
- Manual dexterity for machine operation.
Personal Attributes:
- Ability to prioritize and plan effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability to change.
- Experience supervising small teams.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity.
- Vision requirements must align with the HUBER+SUHNER Soldering Procedure.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Must possess the physical and mental capabilities to perform all essential tasks; reasonable accommodations may be provided.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in demanding conditions.
- Capability to lift and transfer items weighing up to 25 lbs frequently.
