Program Management Supervisor

Position Overview:
As a Program Management Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and execution of policies and strategies that support the mission of the Community Liaison Services program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute action plans that align with the agency's objectives in pipeline safety.
- Assess the effectiveness of current strategies, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and spearhead necessary adjustments.
- Continuously track and report on various business lines, activities, external influences, and outcomes related to the Community Liaison Service Program.
- Conduct thorough analysis and interpretation of data derived from pipeline safety studies and reports.
- Provide expert advice to senior management on the implications of energy supply, environmental policies, and pipeline incidents, ensuring alignment with agency goals.
- Supervise and prioritize work for subordinates, establishing both short-term and long-term objectives.
Collaboration:
The ideal candidate will engage closely with Regional Directors and various offices within the agency to manage public inquiries, compliance monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and outreach initiatives.
Program Mission:
The Community Liaison Services program is dedicated to enhancing pipeline safety through proactive stakeholder engagement, technical expertise, and the utilization of technology and data.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Supervising Community Liaisons and managing risk-based pipeline safety programs.
2. Influencing policy changes and program development to mitigate risks.
3. Building public trust through effective stakeholder outreach and transparency.
4. Promoting safety innovation through regional support and technical assistance.
5. Utilizing technology and data to identify and analyze risks.
Conditions of Employment:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and meet specialized experience requirements.
- Required documents must be submitted by the specified deadline.
- Travel may be required, and a government-issued travel card will be provided for official business.
Telework Eligibility:
This position may allow for occasional telework, with the number of approved days determined by management in accordance with agency policy.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess specialized experience that includes:
- Expertise in management techniques and organizational theories related to program management and special projects.
- Experience in evaluating and recommending improvements to pipeline safety activities.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective communication with senior management.
