- Continuously oversee and report on all business lines, activities, external factors, and outcomes related to the Community Liaison Services Program.
- Conduct thorough analysis and interpretation of data from pipeline safety studies and reports.
- Provide guidance to senior management on the implications of energy supply, environmental policies, and pipeline incidents, ensuring alignment with agency objectives.
- Supervise and prioritize work for subordinates, establishing both short-term and long-term goals.
Collaboration:
The ideal candidate will engage closely with various offices within the agency, including Regional Directors and the Office of Governmental Affairs, to tackle public inquiries, ensure compliance with federal regulations, and enhance stakeholder engagement.
Program Mission:
The Community Liaison Services program aims to enhance awareness and drive improvements in pipeline safety through proactive stakeholder engagement, technical expertise, and the use of technology and data.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Supervising Community Liaisons and managing risk-based pipeline safety initiatives.
2. Promoting public trust through effective stakeholder outreach and transparency.
3. Supporting safety innovation through regional assistance and community engagement.
4. Fostering organizational excellence through partnerships and development opportunities.
5. Utilizing technology and data to identify and analyze risks.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet specific experience requirements, including:
- Demonstrated expertise in management techniques and organizational theory.
- Proven ability to evaluate and recommend improvements in pipeline safety activities.
- Strong communication skills to build effective relationships with diverse audiences.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Candidates will be assessed on their leadership capabilities, technical competence, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Information:
This position may involve travel and could be eligible for telework arrangements, subject to agency policies.
