Overview: Lenox Hill Neighborhood House is a distinguished human services organization, established in 1894, dedicated to enhancing the lives of over 16,000 individuals annually, ranging from children to seniors, through a comprehensive suite of services including social, educational, legal, health, and wellness programs.

Role Summary: The Program Operations Manager plays a pivotal role within our Older Adult Centers team, collaborating with administrative personnel, social workers, and volunteers to ensure exceptional service delivery. Reporting directly to the Director of Older Adult Centers, this position involves overseeing the administration, operations, and programming of the Centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the coordination of service delivery and operational functions of the Older Adult Centers.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Food Services and Social Services, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Lead and supervise a team of Program Assistants, interns, and volunteers.
  • Assist the Director in policy reviews, addressing member concerns, and managing daily operations in alignment with high-performance standards.
  • Stay updated on government regulations to ensure compliance across all operational aspects.
  • Engage with members daily, providing support and addressing inquiries regarding programs and services.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and crisis intervention as necessary.
  • Evaluate current programs and policies, offering recommendations for enhancements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director.
