Program Overview:
The Manhattan Outreach Consortium is a collaborative initiative aimed at engaging with street homeless individuals and facilitating their transition into stable housing. This program works closely with various community partners and healthcare organizations across Manhattan.

Position Purpose:
The Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the daily functions of the outreach programs, which includes overseeing vehicle upkeep, inventory management, and office maintenance tasks. This position operates under the Facilities Department at Goddard Riverside.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Compensation Range:
$43,000 - $48,000

Salary offers will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience and additional qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1.) Vehicle Management
  • Supervise fleet vehicles, coordinating maintenance such as oil changes and inspections.
  • Conduct regular inspections of outreach vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist with emergency maintenance tasks including tire changes and light repairs.
  • Maintain detailed logs of vehicle maintenance activities.
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper upkeep of vehicles, including interior checks.
  • Collaborate with the Dispatcher/Operations Specialist for vehicle registrations and permits.
  • Assist in obtaining estimates and coordinating significant repairs.
2.) Facility Management
  • Ensure adequate supply of PPE at outreach offices.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from multiple offices to address minor issues.
  • Work with outreach teams to manage office cleaning supplies and inventory.
  • Coordinate with external service providers for repairs and installations.
  • Assist outreach teams in organizing offsite documentation.
  • Facilitate bulk purchasing of office supplies in collaboration with outreach departments.
  • Work alongside the Director of Facilities to manage office renovations.
  • Oversee facility-related invoices and ensure proper submission with program administrators.
3.) Additional Duties
Perform other related tasks as required.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record as per agency guidelines.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to assist with minor repairs and furniture assembly.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or willingness to learn.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent walking and standing required.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
  • Work conducted indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Travel between multiple office locations in Manhattan.
  • Ability to navigate heavy city traffic while driving.
