Position: Integration Chief for Combat Training Instrumentation Systems

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Product Manager for Combat Training Instrumentation Systems (PdM CTIS) by engaging in daily acquisition tasks across the organization’s portfolio. This includes the preparation of acquisition documentation and presentations for various PdM CTIS Programs, while collaborating with PM TRADE, PEO staff, and other external project managers, agencies, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to PdM CTIS in daily acquisition operations across the portfolio.
  • Develop, integrate, and prepare acquisition documentation and presentations for PdM CTIS Programs, including but not limited to ACAT briefs, portfolio briefs, and Program Management Reviews.
  • Generate and coordinate weekly updates and presentation materials for PM TRADE's Staff Calls.
  • Prepare and integrate PPBE documentation, including modification reviews, RFIs, and TRIAD taskers.
  • Coordinate the development of P&R forms, financial plans, and reviews of spending plans.
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in Combat Training Center Program Management Reviews and Pillar reviews with PdM CTIS stakeholders and PEO Program Managers.
  • Assist in the creation and integration of TSS Battle rhythm materials and address RFIs as needed.
  • Collaborate with PM TRADE, PEO staff, and other external project managers, agencies, and stakeholders to synchronize products, meetings, and task assignments.
  • Lead the operations cell for PdM CTIS.
  • Support the program team as directed by PdM CTIS.

Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Proficient knowledge of acquisition policies, programs, organizations, functions, and resources related to PEO STRI's mission.
  • Familiarity with the DOD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process and its connection to systems acquisition and program management activities.
  • Ability to organize and lead specialized teams and task forces comprising members from various organizations and commands.
  • Working knowledge of DOD acquisition and lifecycle management policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Understanding of the acquisition, development, fielding, and lifecycle support of simulation, simulator, training, and instrumentation systems.
  • Knowledge of Acquisition Program management, preferably with advanced qualifications in Program Management (PM) and Business, or equivalent.
  • Full Time (40 hours/week)
  • Work Center: Hybrid - in-office and telework mix as mission requires.
