Position: Integration Chief for Combat Training Instrumentation Systems (PdM CTIS)

The selected individual will play a crucial role in supporting the PdM CTIS in daily acquisition tasks across the organization's portfolio. This includes the preparation of acquisition documentation and presentations for various PdM CTIS Programs, while collaborating with PM TRADE, PEO staff, and other external PMs, agencies, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to PdM CTIS in daily acquisition operations across the portfolio.
  • Develop, integrate, and prepare acquisition documentation and presentations for PdM CTIS Programs, including but not limited to ACAT briefs, portfolio briefs, and Program Management Reviews.
  • Coordinate and produce weekly updates and slides for PM TRADE's Staff Call.
  • Manage and integrate PPBE products, including modification reviews, RFIs, and TRIAD taskers.
  • Prepare and coordinate P&R forms, spending plans, and reviews of spending plans.
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in CTC PMRs/Pillars reviews with PdM CTIS stakeholders and PEO PMs, as well as external participants.
  • Assist in the development and integration of TSS Battle rhythm products and address RFIs as necessary.
  • Collaborate with PM TRADE, PEO staff, and other external PMs, agencies, and stakeholders to synchronize products, meetings, and taskers.
  • Lead the PdM CTIS Operations Cell.
  • Support the program team as directed by PdM CTIS.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of acquisition policies, programs, organizations, functions, and resources related to PEO STRI's mission.
  • Familiarity with the DOD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process and its relevance to systems acquisition and program management activities.
  • Ability to organize and lead specialized teams and task forces with members from various organizations and commands.
  • Comprehensive understanding of DOD acquisition and life cycle management policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Knowledge of the acquisition, development, fielding, and life cycle support of simulations, simulators, training, and instrumentation systems.
  • Experience in Acquisition Program management, preferably with DAWIA advanced certification in Program Management (PM) and Business or equivalent.
  • Full-time position (40 hours/week).
  • Work arrangement: Hybrid - a mix of in-office and telework as mission requirements dictate.
