Position: Combat Training Instrumentation Systems Integration Chief
The chosen candidate will provide vital support to the Combat Training Instrumentation Systems (PdM CTIS) in various acquisition activities throughout the organization’s portfolio. This role involves preparing essential acquisition documents and presentations for PdM CTIS Programs while collaborating with PM TRADE, PEO staff, and other external project managers, agencies, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily acquisition operations for the PdM CTIS portfolio.
- Create, integrate, and present acquisition materials for PdM CTIS Programs, including ACAT briefs, portfolio presentations, and Program Management Reviews.
- Compile and coordinate weekly updates and presentation slides for PM TRADE's Staff Call.
- Prepare and integrate PPBE documents, including modification reviews, RFIs, and TRIAD taskers.
- Organize and oversee P&R forms, budget plans, and budget review processes.
- Plan and participate in CTC PMRs and Pillars reviews with PdM CTIS stakeholders and PEO PMs.
- Assist in the development and integration of TSS Battle rhythm products and address RFIs as necessary.
- Collaborate with PM TRADE, PEO staff, and external agencies to synchronize products, meetings, and task assignments.
- Lead the PdM CTIS Operations Cell.
- Support the program team as directed by PdM CTIS.
Qualifications:
- Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Proficient understanding of acquisition policies, programs, and functions relevant to PEO STRI's mission.
- Knowledge of the DOD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process and its connection to systems acquisition and program management.
- Ability to organize and lead specialized teams and task forces with members from various organizations.
- Working knowledge of DOD acquisition and lifecycle management policies and practices.
- Familiarity with the acquisition, development, and lifecycle support of training and instrumentation systems.
- Understanding of Acquisition Program management, preferably with DAWIA advanced certification in Program Management and Business or equivalent.
- Full-time position (40 hours/week).
- Hybrid work environment, combining in-office and remote work as required.
