We are seeking a skilled HR Data Analyst/Scientist to join our team at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). As a central bank and integrated financial regulator, MAS promotes sustained, non-inflationary economic growth through monetary policy and macroeconomic surveillance.
As an HR Data Analyst/Scientist, you will be responsible for leveraging data to optimize HR processes, enhance employee experiences, and drive business performance. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets related to employee demographics, performance, engagement, retention, and other HR metrics.
- Utilizing statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to build predictive models for employee turnover, performance, and other key HR outcomes.
- Identifying trends, patterns, and correlations in HR data to uncover actionable insights and inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborating with HR stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and develop data-driven solutions to enhance HR operations.
- Using data analysis to understand employee needs and preferences, and recommending strategies to enhance the employee experience.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs through data analysis, and providing recommendations for optimization.
- Creating clear and compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
- Staying abreast of emerging trends and best practices in HR analytics, data science, and technology, and identifying opportunities for innovation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in HR analytics, data science, or a related field, with a strong understanding of HR processes and metrics.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and data manipulation using tools such as Python, R, SQL, and/or other relevant programming languages and tools.
- Proficient in using data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality in data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with HR Systems (e.g. Workday) and other HR technology platforms is a plus.
- Candidates who are IHRP-certified will be considered favourably.
