About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Blue Ridge Community Health Services. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office by providing exceptional customer service to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with check-in and check-out during appointments, ensuring all patient data is up-to-date and confidential.
  • Answer patient phone calls to assist with scheduling appointments and provide general information about our services.
  • Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, staff, and community stakeholders.
Requirements
  • One year of experience working in a medical office environment (previous experience is preferred, but not required).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, patients, providers, peers, supervisors, and community stakeholders.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to working collaboratively with others to achieve our organization's mission and goals.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
