**Emergency Medical Services Coordinator**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EMS Operations Coordinator to join our team at Trinity Health. This is a critical role that requires strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate emergency medical services (EMS) activities and ensure seamless interactions between EMS agencies and our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities- Liaison between EMS agencies and Trinity Health: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with EMS providers to encourage them to bring patients to our healthcare system.
- EMS/Hospital Meetings: Facilitate quarterly meetings with EMS agencies to share metrics and improve performance.
- EMS Affiliation Agreements: Coordinate and manage affiliation agreements with EMS agencies, working closely with the Regional Legal Department.
- Continuous Quality Improvement: Develop and implement a Continuous Quality Improvement Program for EMS agencies, working with the EMS Medical Director.
- EMS Education and Training: Develop and manage EMS clinical education and training programs for students and practicing EMTs, including organizing clinical time in various departments.
- EMS Week Coordination: Coordinate activities for EMS Week.
- Education and Experience: Associate's degree with EMT-P certification and a minimum of three years of field experience as an EMT or three years of experience as a Coordinator of EMS services, or Registered Nurse with 3 years of EMS/ED experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent organizational and communication skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work Environment: The EMS Operations Coordinator will work in the Emergency Department with exposure to patients and patient elements, including some office work and travel within the community.
- Reporting Structure: The EMS Operations Coordinator will report to the Emergency Department Nurse Director.
