- Team Leadership: Supervise and participate in the production, preparation, and presentation of all foods, ensuring a consistent quality product is produced.
- Inventory Management: Ensure a sufficient inventory is maintained to meet daily needs, record deliveries, and deal with discrepancies.
- Food Safety and Sanitation: Ensure proper handling of all food products and equipment, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation at all times.
- Employee Development: Interview, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach, and counsel kitchen staff, resolving problems and providing open communication.
- Experience: Two to three years' experience in a related culinary position.
- Education: Two to three years of post-high school education, preferably a culinary degree.
- Skills: Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession, excellent oral, reading, and written communication skills.
- Availability: Willingness to work event-based hours, including evenings and weekends.
