Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, including food preparation and production, as well as supervising and directing our Chef de Partie and Commis team members.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness
Supervise and direct the Chef de Partie and Commis team members, providing guidance and support as needed
Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine and Executive Sous Chef to execute the kitchen department's goals and the overall vision for the restaurant
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to our high standards for quality and safety
Requirements
Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on creativity, quality, and consistency
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
What We Offer
Competitive salary range: $65,000 - $75,000 per year
